Roman semi-circular wool Paenula cloak, made from 100% grey wool in plain weave. Entirely hand-sewn using locally-sourced linen thread in a double running-stitch and the seams are flat-felled in the Roman fashion and secured with an overcast stitch. Edges are hemmed using overcast stitching and the front closure consists of leather washers and thongs secured with waxed linen thread.
Medieval linen drawstring Braies, made from 100% unbleached linen in plain weave. Entirely hand-sewn using locally-sourced linen thread in a running back-stitch and the seams are flat-felled and secured with an overcast stitch. The waist closes via a drawstring with a wool tubular-braided cord dyed red with madder.
